Sandro Wagner started his football career at local club Bayern Munich. He then played for MSV Duisburg for a season and a half before making the move to Werder Bremen.
“I can hardly wait,” he said. “The transfer to Werder is a dream come true for me as I join the club I supported as a child. As soon as I heard that I had the chance to move to the Weser, my decision was made despite having a few other offers.”
After scoring a goal against Borussia Moenchengladbach, Wagner kissed the badge.
However, just ten months later, after scoring 5 goals in 29 games, Wanger was loaned out to FC Kaiserslautern.
