Olivier Giroud joined French side Grenoble when he was 13-years-old and signed his first professional deal with them when he was 21.
“It took me signing my first professional contract to become aware of my abilities,” he said. “If you (a club) trusted me, it must know that I have some qualities.”
After a successful period with Montpellier he was signed by Arsenal in the summer of 2012. He kissed the badge for the first time after scoring a goal against Fulham.
