Luiz Enrique has left Jeonbuk after spending 5 seasons with the South Korean club. During that time he scored 24 goals, with his most memorable contribution the winner against Ulsan in the 2011 championship.

In his last game for the club he scored in the 88th minute. At the end of the match his fellow team mates gave him a final farewell by hoisting him up in the air several time before leaving the field so he could say goodbye to the fans. After giving his final bow to the supporters he could be seen crying as he kissed the badge.
