Kingson’s kisses before being released
26 07 2012After being released by Wigan, Richard Kingson joined Blackpool on a free transfer in their first ever season in the Premier League.
Following Blackpool’s 2-0 win over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light, Kingson kissed the badge in front of the travelling fans.
Blackpool were relegated at the end of the season and Kingson was released.

Two penalty saves and a badge kiss
24 07 2012Neal Kitson, born in New York, started his football career in the US. He spent a season as first choice for Rochester Rhinos before exercising a release clause in his contract to allow him to join League Two’s Northampton Town on a free transfer.
On his début, he saved an injury time penalty against Crewe Alexandra to secure a point for his new club. In his second game, he saved another penalty, this time against Oxford United, in a game his team won 2-1. After the final whistle, he kissed the badge.

Richards badge kissing a week after joining
22 07 2012After starting his career in Jamaica, Dane Richards joined the MLS in his early 20s, signing for New York Red Bulls. He spent six seasons with the club and played 163 games.
However, this summer he joined Vancouver Whitecaps FC and a week later he scored his first goal for them against San Jose Earthquakes. He celebrated by kissing the badge.
